5 ways to make your kids clothes last longer

Don’t we keep looking out for reasons in order to make our clothes last longer? Do you (like me) do the same with your kids fashion dresses? Below, we take a look at some of our practical tips when it comes to keeping your kids' clothes looking new for as long as possible.

1. Do not make them wear the same piece every other day

We know everyone has their favorite clothes - kids are no different. And, when it comes to favorite fairy dress or your boys t-shirt, wearing them every other day becomes a custom. Well, that’s not the right thing to do. Make sure you have a couple of them lined up in order to keep changing from time and time. Wearing that same favorite pair every day will make the same wear out sooner than you think.

2. Stay hold on a few older clothes

You know your kid’s annual day meet is coming and you have bought a tutu dress online India for the same. However, there comes an urgent work where you kid needs to do some heavy activities like the nursery or going to the park. For times like these, you can always avoid picking the newer one and opt for an older style that doesn’t give you pain when your kiddo dirties it.

3. Do not wash - too often

The number of times you wash the clothes, the quicker they will wear off. Washing them too often leads them to go over and over again in that harsh detergent, strong waves that loosen the thread count and causes the wear & tear.

4. Get the fixes in time

Your girl fell down while playing in the field and the girls frock has a slit or a tiny tear on tulle area. Make sure you get that thing fixed in the early stage rather than waiting for the time when there’s a big hole and you cannot fix it.

5. Move them to others

Whether you donate them in the orphanage or pass them on to your own family, what matters is that the clothes are being used to the best. Far too many clothes just go to waste when there is simply no need for them to, so always try to stay conscious when it comes to making clothes last as long as they possibly can before just throwing them away.
