Questions to ask yourself for your kid's birthday party

Do you think well in advance when it comes to celebrating your kid’s birthday? You might just say, “who wouldn’t”? Well, you should keep a check on some questions that will help you decipher whether all things are done for your little one’s birthday or not.

What questions?

Check them below and see if they can help you plan or not.

1. How far is the birthday?

Planning well in advance is a good sign for the parents. If your child’s birthday is more than a month far, you need not worry because you have ample amount of time to you. If it is a month far, you should start jotting down what needs to be done and start making the lists.

2. Who are to be invited?

Depending on your own budget and strength, you should decide how many kids can you handle at the party. Because no matter what, there’ll be adults also (family and friends) and you would have to see your budget in order to get the best of the best for that lot. Don’t go overboard because then you will trim down the quality at some point. Hence, keep the quantity or the number of invitees less.

3. What should your budget be?

Your budget is one big thing that you need to keep a check on. From the birthday dresses for girls to the food on the table, return gifts, decoration and everything else should be included. Keep a slight extra amount in case the budget goes out of hand.

4. What should be there on the menu?

Talking about a kid’s party, food is definitely the center point of it all. Because when kids are hungry, good food is what keeps them getting on your nerves. Make sure you have a kids-friendly menu that doesn’t let the children dirty their kids fashion dresses or spill around.

5. What would the activities be?

Games, games and games - in order to keep the kids entertained, you should have a list of games that’ll keep them enjoying the party rather than cribbing, sobbing or getting into fights with one another. Anything - from the passing the parcel to hide & seek and so many more, you can even have newer games with the kids slightly elder (about 6-7 years old).
